Whipped Cream is so easy  to make at home that you’ll never need to buy the canned version again. In less than 5 minutes you can have a homemade version ready to top your favorite dessert.

-1 c heavy cream
-2 Tbsp sugar
-1 tsp vanilla extract

An hour before you plan to make the whipped cream, place a metal mixing bowl and your metal mixer beater (or whisk, attachment if using a stand mixer) in the freezer.

When ready to make the whipped cream, remove the items from the freezer. Place cream, sugar and vanilla in the cold mixing bowl. Mix at medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3-6 minutes. Serve, or chill up to 8 hours until serving.
