The simplicity of this cocktail pairs with practically any meal.

Honey Syrup
-1/2 c honey
-1/2 c water

For the cocktail
-2 oz gin
-3/4 oz lemon juice
-1/2 oz honey syrup

To make the honey syrup, combine honey and water in a small pot, bring to a simmer and stir well until honey is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.

To make the cocktail, put gin, lemon juice and honey syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into serving glasses.
