Topping
-3 tablespoons butter
-1/2 cup oats
-1/2 cup whole wheat flour
-3/4 cup brown sugar
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
-3/4 cup chopped pecans

Filling
-juice of 1/2 lemon
-6 apples, peeled and diced
-1/4 cup sugar

Mix filling ingredients well and place on the bottom of greased 8×8 dish. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl. Cut in the butter to the dry topping mixture. Stir in the pecans, and top the filling with the crumb topping. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
